Lana lawless: Bang Golf Won the World Long Drive
Lana Lawless, Bang Golf staffer, has won the RE/MAX World Long Drive Champion at
woman's division. Her drives during the competition while using the Bang Storm were 308,309, 295, 324, and her longest shot was 335 yards.During the finals, Lana was able to still drive the ball 254 yards into a 30-40 MPH wind that was blowing directly into her face...! Beating the 250 yard drive of 2006 world champion Phillis Meti... Lana hit her best score of 335 yards during the competitions.

I think I've read the results correctly ........In the Womenss division - Meti, Lawless, Kelliher and Uthoff have qualified for the semi-finals and will competing for the championship Wednesday night, 630PM PT.

The Grand Champion division is competing right now. I'm unaware of any Geek staffers but I understand there are a couple members of the Alpha team who are doing well so far. (Jim Liska and Jim Grigggs)

And I'm also told we have had a Captain Geek sighting in the casino .........last report states that he is still mobile and coherent.
