Breaking Dawn: The Twilight Saga, Book 4

Breaking Dawn is the fourth novel in the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. Breaking Dawn is split into three books, the first and last written in Bella's perspective, the 2nd in werewolf Jacob Black's perspective. It is my 2nd favorite after Twilight, then Eclipse and least favorite ko ang New Moon. Breaking dawn is more than 700 pages long and is the best book out of the whole series so far. Breaking Dawn is the fourth and final novel in Stephenie Meyer’s hugely popular Twilight saga. Breaking Dawn is a weighty novel, weighing in at over 750 pages but it doesn’t feel like a long read.

The Book

Books like these are snacks–Twinkies, fluffy with creme filling and easy to swallow. All of the tension that was built up over the three previous books goes away due to the magical baby. I had to read it because my YA book group is going to discuss it later this month, and I was holding out hope that the fourth book would be an improvement on the third. I think the reaction to the book is split between those who hate and those who love it, just going by the amazon ratings and reviews.

Twilight

Twilight, for example, would have been more satisfying if she had done just one thing to help herself, instead of having her knight in shining armour always turn up at the last minute. Twilight rocks its hard to pick though i read them all but i like eclipse too as well as twilight although new moon is last but they all were awesome book the movie was cool. TWILIGHT tells the story of 17-year-old Bella Swan (Stewart) who moves to the small town of Forks, Washington to live with her father, and becomes drawn to Edward Cullen (Pattinson), a pale, mysterious classmate who seems determined to push her away.

Bella

Bella has the easiest transition to vampirehood in the history of transitions to vampirehood. Bella cannot have Jacob and Edward, just as Catherine cannot have both Edgar and her beloved Heathcliffe. Bella gets all the powerful trappings of vampiric power without all the burden of newborn instincts. Bella's love and confidence in Edward's restraint is such that his warnings go unheeded, and on an outing with the Cullens she becomes the target of a sadistic vampire, James. Bella is described as an understanding, caring, serious, and intelligent person, with a very dry sense of humor, and is noted for being very clumsy.

Reviews

I think perhaps the negative reviews stem from people who have just forgotten that its aimed at teenagers and except a deep, heavy and also sexy novel, it has enough of all those things to really suck you in but it remains a teen novel through and

through. "During Twilight, one of my friends Reviews stated that "Bella's appeal is based on magic rather than character", but that her and Edward's "portrayal of dangerous lovers hits the spot". And the folks who are going read Breaking Dawn will do so, not because of reviews, but because they’ve read the first three books and have excitedly awaited the publication of the finale.

Breaking Dawn is the fourth and final installment in the Twilight Series and I recommend the whole series from ages 13 – 99. Breaking Dawn is the supposed last of the Twilight Series, though Stephenie Meyer has relentlessly contradicted herself. Breaking Dawn is the long anticipated finale to Meyers popular series about a love triangle between a girl, a vampire, and a werewolf. The title Breaking Dawn is a reference to the beginning of Bella's vampire life. Full of Forks goodness, Breaking Dawn is recommended reading for any self-respecting Stephenie Meyer fan.
